    Default Smithville Crappie Brush Piles

Has anyone had a chance to try out the new 2009 crappie brush piles at Smithville yet? Also, if anyone has a fishing report to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like this Saturday will the first nice weekend in a while - 60 degrees WooHoo!

I'm hoping to get out on Saturday as well. Not sure if we'll be on Smithville or bank fishing on a private pond as I only have a small window of opportunity to get out.

Gotta buddy who fishes Smithville a quite a bit but his boat burnt so he has to fish from the bank and can't get to the brushpiles yet so don't know how they are but when he gets a boat he will be wearing them out!

They put the brushpiles around the rip raps at Camp Branch 20-30 feet from the bank.
