Default Buckets full o Ky Lake fishes.....yep pics

Arrived at West sandy ie pump house Wednesday afternoon. Managed to fill up my bucket with some nice fishes. Water temp 57-59 degrees and fish were in 2-8 ft water.

Wet out Thursday morning filled my bucket again. Water temp 58-59 degrees. Fishers were in 4-8 foot of water. About 11 am they shut off when air temp started dropping and the front moved in.

I was using the Big Bite jig and minners Big Bite jig with chartreuse and white curly tail. I like this Big Bite jig.

We stayed a couple more days at lake while my wife recouped from back surgery (procedure). I waited on her for a couple of days. Weather too crappy to get the boat out and fish anyway.

Weather sucked, so we just packed up and came on home. I will be a few days before we go back ans a cold front is moving in. That will shut them down and push them out deeper.

Good going Tom, you've some nice fish there. Like Fatman said, at least you're fishing. Fishing has been far and few between this spring for me, hopefully summer will bring more fishing trips with it. I hope the wife heals quickly for her sake as well as yours. Good luck with the fishing after this front blows through. Man the winds were strong last night.

    Nice Slabs for sure.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
