    Default Sunny Day Report

Slow start and a strong finish. More dark fish than ever this trip. Lots of pretty fish this time out with a few white perch thrown in.

They will spawn Tuesday if weather holds.

Hey there Capt.... another fine day on the Potomac, you got them dialed in!

We were down there earlier in the day, saw you heading north from smoot's area. (my buddy and I were in the tan Alumacraft with the 50 yamaha on it and the catfish rod rack on the back)

We were out a bit to early I think (launched at 9am and could only fish till about 12:30) seemed like the tide started at dead low and barely moved during that time.

We did not have any real success during that time, caught 1 lonely bass fishing from 10 ft to 3 ft with minnows under bobbers as well as jigs tipped with minnows.

Do you have any tips / tricks you would be willing to share either here or privately via pm regarding best tides / baits to fish?

Thanks much for any help you can offer!
