    Default Taking off oil injection?


    Can anyone tell me how to take off the oil injection on a 05 mercury XR6 150?
    The oil pump still works atleast I hope it does I just want to run premix

    drain tank plug oil lines and disconect power leed. should work fine , i did it to a snowmobile.

    BE SURE that you premix BEFORE you disconnect injection!!! Run on muffs till you get LOTS of smoke. This will assure you have mixed gas in bowls BEFORE you dissconnect. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!

    It keeps you from running straight gas out of bowls and fuel lines.

    Pretty straight fwd though. I did it too.

    Get a graduated oil fill bottle from walmart and mix 50:1
