    Default Morels are out


    My buddies father in law found a "grocery sack full" ( dont know what size) of little grey morels the night before last. Buddy said the had all they could eat though, and they were all leeetle ones.
    Two people at work went last night and said they found a few last night.

    South part of the state or mid missouri area? Glad to hear they are starting to find them:D

    still a few weeks out yet fotr the kc area , but i'll let ya know when i get on them . oh wait .... i thought i just heard one pop up !!!! lol

    i would thing they may have a small setback with the weather temps that are forcasted ,but wont be long,,,baller i was thinging about you and your secret morel hide out/location,,,,,handy place for sure

    They are forecasting a possible hard freeze next week..that will kill em just like last year

    We are just north of Nevada. Talked to my dad, who lives east of here, and he found some last sunday, right after that snow melted! Maybe they were already up, and the snow insulated them from the freeze. We had a hard freeze last weekend, but didnt seem to hurt them round here anyway.
