    Default Spider rigging question?


    Ben experimenting with the spider rigging technique. ben using one 12 ftr and
    the rest 10ftrs. Question is do you pros think 10ftrs get far enough from the boat without spooking fish? Thanks in advance.

    depends on water depth. for shallow fishing i don't like anything shorter than 14 and actually prefer 16 ft and above. for 12+ ft i'd say the 10's would be fine.

    keep your longest rods off the bow and run shorter ones off the side.
