Question about spider rigging

I've just got into the spider rigging fishing. Really enjoy this type of fishing but seem like all the fish I catch are small ones. I know we don't have the big fish here in Eastern,Ky like there are down South. Usually by vertical jigging able to take some nice ones home. So the question how can I go about catching bigger fish. All help be apprecitated. Thanks.

Try fishing a little deeper.

What are you fishing with size, weight ect. ? You can try moving around if all you are catching are small in an area. they hang out in groups of like sized fish when you catch a big one you will generally catch more if you don't spook them.
