Fishing at Rathbun??

Just looking for some tips and a report on the crappie fishing at Rathbun. I will be heading up that on the 9th of August staying till sunday. Coming up for some fishing and racing at Knoxville, just hoping for good weather.

If you'd just crappie fish Red Rock at night you could listen to the races :D

Well I would fish Red Rock, if all the camping sites werent all spoken. Because of being so close to the track. But still, I wouldnt miss the nationals for nothing even to go nite fishing.

Sorry Ted, I had some news on the Rathbun dnr thread. Thought maybe you'd catch it.
I've been having luck jigging them out of deep wood.

Herb, I didnt see that the post on the DNR thread. I was already gone when you posted this one. We did manage to find a some with all the rain.
