Thanks for allowing me to join your forum. I LOVE Crappie Fishing and enjoy reading the posts here. I learn something new every time. I thought I would introduce myself in a slightly different way. I live in Central Mississippi and have been Crappie fishing now for about 5 years. I have traded up to a nice simple aluminum boat that allows me to get to where the fish are. I have posted a picture of my keep from one trip last week. I (we) my wife and I do not keep any fish that is less than 12 inches. Our thought is that allowing a fish to live to go to that length has provided it a oppertunity to enjoy fish life for not less than 3 years plus we filet our Crappie and we do not like to take a fish life unless the reward is justified. I might not post a lot but I enjoy reading and learning from others experiences. My Dad told me a long time ago - If the Dogwoods are blooming the Crappie are bitting. We fish on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.
