    Default Little girls first Crappie trip


    I let my 10 year old skip school and go to Ky lake with me yesterday. We caught alot of short fish did manage a 5(all good un's) keepers over all had a great day with my best bud.

    Awesome. Bet she learned something more valuable and lasting than what she might have learned in school. She likely also learned she has a great dad who loves her lots. Good job.

    Good job Bowtek,
    She will be grown before you know it. They will learn more on the lake than they will in school about some things. Don't hurt to miss a few.
    Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

    I think all kids need to skip a day of school and go into the field instead. Whether it be fishing, hunting, hiking etc. They need to experience Mother Nature at it's finest! Something they will never forget!
