    I bought some gulp alive maggots today and just wondered if anyone used the Gulp alive spray on their jigs it sure does catch blue gills Maggots that is

    never had luck with the maggots where i fished didnt try jiggin with em though

    i use the spray not the maggots but i know crappie like the spray!

    First I heard of the spray on jigs I've always Kodiak paste and I know the crappie love it

    Give it a shot of WD-40, it works on everything

    wd-40? i use that to take oxidation off of my old truck... but never thought to use it as that.... Are you serious?

    Yes Wd-40 can be used as an attractant. Use to use it on artifical worms all the time.

    ... as a fish attractant. It's a petroleum based solvent product, and is regarded as a polluting agent. Even the company that makes it, has put out disclaimers ... advising that they do not condone using it for this purpose.

    This has been discussed several times before, so if you do a search on it, you're sure to find some old threads about it
