Grenada? Hmmmm, I think I've heard of it. You should be hitting it perfect if the weather cooperates. Just be careful of where you go. The lake is still kind of low this time of year and there is alot of structure. That includes old building foundations! There are alot of lower units laying in the bottom of Grenada. The wind is also killer. The lakes are big and flat. Waves get big quick. The size of the crappie there make it all worth while.:D. You'll have a real chance at a 3+ pounder. Have a great time and bring back some pics.

    Speckhunter,
I heard two older gentleman from mo. died down there last spring in rough weather. I guess because of that you have to wear a life vest the whole time you are on the water now.....We are going with a local guide for those two days. So I won't leave a lower unit down there. Got an email from him last night saying with all the rain the lake is high right now and the fish are scattered. He said we should hit the spawn just right if the weather cooperates. Hell you never know we might have to drag a boat down and fish a third day. we can always 'Call in sick ....Collect from down there. George hope we don't see a guy with a blue gray boat and a budlight in his hand wanting to board our rig....lol

We're heading down there in April as well. We're leaving KC on 4/15 and will be on the lake 4/16. I was thinking this was a little late but from what it sounds like it might be a little closer to the spawn than we thought. What dates are you fishing?
