Never used it. Good luck with it.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Love the braid for dipping trees. Tried the fireline one time and pulled it back off and back to Stren braid again. I have a new rod and reel spooled with Suffix orange braid I am going to give a try. A lot of guys on here like it. I have tried a lot of braids and have always went back to the Stren Hi-Vis braid.

How does that Suffix orange braid work in ultra clear water?

Have not used it yet. But I will not have to worry about using it in clear water as I fish Truman. If we have 1 ft. of visibility that is clear. I use hi-vis braid and mono. There may be some guys or gals on here that have used it in clear water. They make it in other colors also.

    Thumbs up Fireline

I have used fireline for several years. We use it on all our rods that we take to Canada for Northern, Walleye, and Lake Trout. I also have it on one of my crappie rods and it seems to work well. It is strong stuff...usually you can bend the hook before it breaks. Another thing that I do is strip off 10-15 feet every once in awhile to get "fresh" line. Only thing I don't like is that you have to have a clippers or knife around to cut it. I like to use teeth on mono when I can.

good stuff make sure you either use mono backing or tape it to your spool I've had it get loose on the spool before and it will just spin.

I've used Fireline for a long time. Went to Crystal a couple years ago. Tried the hi-vis yellow on my light gear for my recent visit Pomme de Terre and really like it. Can't beat the feel, and now I can see it better.

I experimented with adding a 4-pound test fluorocarbon leader and really liked that too, but most of the time I hooked brush, the two lines parted company. Need to find a knot that works well with that thin stuff.

Lots of good braids out there though. Just got to find one you like.
