Saturday on Wylie

Crappies are finally starting to bite on Wylie. We deep jigged in 13-22 ft. of water around some cover up river. We kept 30 and had 6 slabs. We are going again Friday and see if we can do this trick again.

I am thinking of trying Norman early Saturday for stripers and then moving down to Wylie Saturday night for crappie and catfish.

Have you ever trolled at night???

glad to read a good report. i have never had much luck with jigs. what was the water color and what color jig did you use?

I used a chartruise and black skirt in a 1/16 jig head using 4 lb. test line around DEEP BRUSH. The water was dingy. Water temp was 83.8
