    Talking Trolling Wylie

I'm on vacation next week and I want to go to Wylie for a couple of days. Is there anyone catching good numbers of fish trolling in the daytime? I'm also looking for a place to stay on or near the lake thursday and friday night.

    Thanks for any suggestions,

Crappieman--I don't know much about trolling for crappie but I know the fish are mostly in close and there seems to be plenty of them. You probably won't catch the 350+ per day that some claim to (who counts that many?) on some of the NC lakes but at least at Wylie ya a chance at some biguns. There are alot of motels just off I-77 in Rock Hill and I know there is a Days Inn by York. I think the closest place to stay near the lake is Hamilton's Bay in Lake Wylie. It's about a mile from The Buster Boyd boat ramp. There is a bait shop in Lake Wylie plaza that sells minnows for .99 dz. Hamilton Bay ph is 803-831-2399. Hope this helps. Lets us know how ya do.
