What have you found is the best way (easiest) to debark the wood? For my furniture, I use a drawknife and then a belt sander but, it's really time consuming.

Bluegill, I used to debark cypress knees for use on projects. I put them in a big old tub and boil them awhile. The bark came of real easy after that. I would think you could make a couple of long skinny metal trays that would fit over a couple of burner on a stove, preferably not your wife's.

I have found a home for the last cane pictured. A very deserving Disabled Vet in the Ft. Hood area is in need of a walking cane now. Sending it to this Gentleman for free. He has paid enough already.
