    Default LOZ Big Niangua 3-26-09

Caught them in 10 fow. Used red/char. slab busters. The first 15 were caught in 2 hour's then they slowed down. Water was 53-56. Best part was spending the day with my 79 year old grandpa. I hope I'm just able to drive over a bridge and look at the lake when I'm 79, let alone go out in a boat all day

    Default Enough

Monty, you already got enough fish, why don't you let him take them to some of us are in more of a need for fish. :D

    Nice catch CJONES!!!!!!

Plus getting to spend time with your Grandpa. Good for you.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Sounds like a great day. Would love to have a day on the lake with my grandpa again. He has been gone for a few years now. He was a great fisherman but loved fishing small lakes for big bass. Grandma has his 9+ lb bass on the wall still. Glad you got the chance to get him out and catch some fish.

Very nice. I'm very envious. Covered a high school track meet up here this evening in a 25-30 mph north wind, and temps in the upper 30s. Oh how I would rather be fishing.

My gramps taught me an awful lot about fishing when I was a kid. He's been gone for a while now, but the memories are alive and well. Glad you got some time on the water with your grandpa.
