Night fishing this time of year?

Looking at friday night, weather conditions, moon, and the fact that the lake I'm looking at fishing has been getting pounded. Last Sunday it looked like the middle of July, except they were all fishin, not layin in the sun. I love spending my summer evening with lights, but wondered about the pre-spawn when the fish are still schooled up.

Just my little mind thinkin here, but I would think a guy could tear em up right now. Any input?

I'm planning to night fish patoka next week on vacation, looks like weather wil be cool but no rain at night,

Wanted to know the same myself... was thinking of trying this weekend also, maybe if we all give it a shot and report back, we can come to a conclusion. :D
