    Welcome from Battlefield/Springfield Missouri
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I was down there Monday afternoon, only had about a hour to fish, myself and a friend fished off the west bank up close to the fence neither of us had a bite! No boats in the slack water side there probably were only 4 to 5 people around the whole place nobody catching anything. the corps was running some water through the powerhouse, with the rain they should cut lose some more water and it'll get better. I hope!

Was there last Thursday evening on foot, and saw some decent walleyes caught, but few and far between. There were probably 100-150 people lined up on the banks. I only caught 1 white bass. Was there for about an hour and a half.

Has always been hit or miss for me down there on the current side from the bank. Either real good or not a fish one.

About the same for me either hit the mother lode or strike out! It'll get better!
