Went out Friday for about 4 hours and had a case of the no bite blues. Too tired to keep trying. So I loaded the boat around Midnight.
George, are we still on for Sunday? I hope so. Am sure looking forward to it.

[Crappie Reaper]

25' of water off main lake point slightly into a cove. Brush up 3'-4' off bottom, Crappie holding around 14'. 1st fish, 1.5 pounder, 1st keeper in 6 weeks. It was the only fish I caught over 10" today, and I worked the area hard. I caught several smaller Crappie and used up at least a 1/2 pound of minnows doing so. Jigs were sporadic, but, action was fast for most of the day as I could only keep up with two poles. I was just happy to finally catch one fish over 10". Big George was unable to make the trip this time, I look forward to fishing with him someday.
