    Default Fall fishing on guntersville

    Hello everyone,

I was down in Guntersville this spring and even though I fought the weather I did have a good run at them. I was thinking of coming back down in the fall and was wondering when is the best time and do I still need to shoot the docks or use another method in the fall. I would really appreciate any help on this. thanks

crappie ranger, I would seriously suggest fishing any bridge columns you can find. I start catching them from the beginning of October to the beginning of March around the bridges, give or take 2 weeks. Sometimes they will be stacked in around the bridges, but it can get crowded. People will get there early and the disrespectful ones that dont get there early will move in on top of you. What part of Guntersville will you be fishing?

Thanks for the info crappieseeker. My son and I usually camp at the state park. We fished last spring around the bend from there under the bridge and also straight across at the boat docks.
