    Default TM Batteries??????

I'd like to hear what kinda trolling motor batteries you all prefer. Im in need of a couple new ones. I cant complain though the ones ive got are from Kmart, I believe they are Delco Remy and lasted a good long four years. Jon

I always buy mine for AutoZone.....they are manufactured by Johnson Controls.

Best part is the the AutoZone battery is warranteed for 24 months full replacement. If you can get more than 2 years out of a trolling motor battery you are living on borrowed time.

I just picked up two fresh ones today....Truman trip yesterday with the wind told me it was time!:D
Progressive Marine Insurance SUCKS!. If you hit a submerged object they will try to prove manufacturers defect....stay away from them.

Trojans are great. Run a search to find a dealer. Also Odessey's "Trolling Thunder" but they're pricy.

Once I bought a starting battery, replaced it in my boat, went to the lake, only to find out there wasn't enough charge to start my outboard motor. Since then, I always have the clerk check out the battery I'm about to purchase. It only takes a couple of minutes and you will know for sure if the battery is fully charged ready for the lake.
