Weiss Update

Fishing has been sloooow this week. The water is way up and the water temp. is around 59. Fished Tuesday at Riverside with 10 keepers. Fished Yellow creek and Riverside Wednesday with only 3 keepers. Fished little river this morning for a couple of hours before heading home and managed 7 keepers all caught within the first hour of daylight. Been coming down to Weiss for 9 years and this has been the least successful trip I've had. Most fish were caught in 13 ft. of water trolling 1/16 oz. jigs. Maybe better luck next year. My wife and I did manage to catch a nice 1 3/4 pound and a 1 1/2 pound crappie.
