Sounds like a nice day on the water with a new fishin buddy. It also sounds like the fish are on the same lack of pattern as they were last time we talked.I think that is soon to change,Keep on'em
a few fish makes for a great day on LOZ.
Had the honor of fishing with CDC member - Crappiehusker this morning. Was great to meet you and you are welcome in my boat any time.
As far as the fishing, we didn't tear them up, but caught a few. The only pattern I can tell you is; there is no pattern?
Caught fish setting in 7' of water up to 20' of water. About the only constant - they were fairly tight to the brush and a lot of them sucked it in rather than that thump we all love. Water temp early was around 53 degrees up here, and I saw some 58 degree water later in the day.
Crappiehusker noticed a red bud tree in a real sheltered spot this morning that is showing some color, so great times are just around the corner.
Again, Jerry, sure enjoyed the morning with you.
