    Okay Crappie-dot-com'ers......

What do you ladies & fellas look for in a good fishing report?

Just the basic meat & potatoes ~ i.e. technique, baits, depths, time, location, & results etc...
Or a story format with a little more detail & tips with pictures......
How about an author's crazy attempt to answer the age old question WHY....
Cuz that's what the Bos says...

Date, numbers caught, bait or lure used and what color, water temp, and depth of water the fish were in. I also like to know where on the lake they were caught, but I don't begrudge anyone for not telling that info online.

I'm fine with water temp. and location such as at the mouth of creeks, or mid way back in 20' water, or all the way back in shallow water. If they are holding tight to timber or other structure that is a plus.

Water clarity, water temp., X feet down over Y feet of water, technique/bait used, color of artificial and agressiveness of hits, structure/cover/suspended relationship, and maybe fishing pressure.

I am plumb sperled when I get a report. Dano on Gold Creek on lake Conway tells me which stump to fish by and what to use for bait. We both know the holes well enough that he can tell me exactly what I need to do.
As far as on line or othere publications, I never do well as they recomend.

I'll take whatever info someone wants to provide. However I don't expect them to spray paint the stumps and tell me which ones.

I will help anybody out however I can but the truth is most people aren't patient enough to catch them anyway. You can tell them a specific brush pile or tree and they will still struggle.
