    Default Perry 3/18

On the water at 7:30. Launched at Slough Creek. Between my father-in-law and I we caught a grand total of 0 fish!!! Not even a white bass. Oh, well. I'm just glad I didn't have to work. I'll be giving it another go on friday.

Pulling the water at Perry in the early spring has little effect on the bite. The girls are driven to feed egg maturation "come hell or high water". The prior rainfall had more of an effect as it has dirtied up the water in Old Town. The crappie and shad are still there, just catching them has become more of a challenge with limited visability. When you stick one, fat as plenty of my old girlfriends. The water is slowly clearing in that area. A good bite is now happening mid lake on the Delaware branch. From Longview ramp north, flats with brush, 8-10 fow. If they are not on a brushpile, find another.
