we caught fish in the 2# range quite a lot and even had one to break
6# p-line, this is one of alabama lake's
that will soon be the crappie capital
of the south.

James, you must have bought the line like I did at Gander Mountain and it turned out to be rotten!!! ( I bought 10 lb fluorocarbon P-line from Gander on sale and it was rotten, I returned all 3 spools, no joke here!! )
That is some good fishing down there, Keep it up!!!
Thanks James.I believe there is great potiential all along the "Alabama".It seems that most of the tournaments are to the north. Most folks down here are more interested in catching than competition.Somewhat interested in competition but mostly interested in learning different techniques. You have to have potential to be successful. Thanks for your reply.
Hi James. Just saw you on this Board. Fran and I are in Florida now for a few weeks, just doing nothing. It was nice meeting you and Jessie. Hope you are both well. All of us in Millbrook enjoyed the Tournament. Hope y'all come back now, ya'hear? (not bad for a transplanted Rhode Islander)

GET THE NET HAROLD, GET THE NET!!
The way to learn is to attend these tournaments, watch, do and listen. The all time 2 day weight record was broken, plenty of monsters there for sure.
