Post the name of the thief so he can get all the fame he deserves
Last year I posted about having my stainless boat prop stolen from my boat in front of my house in O'Fallon. I got a call today from the Po-Po saying they caught the guy- he apparently stole a couple dozen props in the O'Fallon, St. Peters and St. Charles area. He was stealing props and then selling them on E-bay. I won't get my prop back, but they did mention something about "restitution" (yeah, right!). They had a map of the area with the places props were reported stolen for the last couple years. The story is in the St. Louis Post Disgrace St. Charles section. Ironic that I was talking to my banker about a boat loan when the Police called to tell me that.

Glad they caught the SOB. I guess I was not born a thief never would have thought of that scam. Now that I think about it, we would probably be surprised how much of the stuff on E bay is hot.

Hi Brent
Saw that story this morning and thought of you. Glad to hear that they know who got your prop. Maybe you will get some restitution but I agree with you most likely not. Hope the SOB gets some jail time anyway.
What's up with the new boat?:D
