    Default Hello

    Hello,

I'm new to the forum. Used to do a lot of crappie fishing when I lived down south. Have not done so much up here (been playing with the blue cats on the potomac though..:D)

A friend of mine and I are going to head down to the Patuxent river this upcoming weekend (he said something about the wayson's corner area) and will put my boat in there. I think he knows a few spots down there but I know its probably been 10 years since he's fished them.

Does anyone have any tips/tricks for fishing that area? what depths are the crappie running in right now.

Any advice you can provide will be appreciated.

    Thanks

I would think the Jug Bay area would hold crappie. Not to much water flow but enough to hold the fish there.
