    Default Smith Lake


    Starting to heat up on Smith. Caught 29 nice ones Saturday afternoon after the rain ended. Got 36 Sunday. Slow in the morning much better in the afternoon. Black/Char tube jigs worked well. Most caught in the 5-6 foot range in 15-20 feet of water. Heading back Wednesday afternoon for 6 days. Looking forward to it!!

    you should have fished the Crappie USA event down there a week ago. I think the amateur event was won with 6.9 lbs and the semi pro with 3.99 lbs. Most people had trouble catching 7 from what i read.
