Finally got to feeling a little better this morning so I hit the lake about 10:00. Only fished places I have not fished before. Find brush in 6 to 8 ft of water and you will find fish. Solid white jig under a slip bobber set about 3 ft. deep. Throw it in around the brush and hang on. Can't tell you how many keepers I caught today. Well over a limit. Kept a limit for the skillet. Kept 6 over a pound and then started releasing the bigger fish. (Wish I had let all the bigger ones go. Will from now on.) The rest of the limit I kept was in the 10 to 11 inch range. Will post some pictures when I get to my office on Mon. Quit fishing about 4:30. Fished from the 12mm to the 5mm. Nice day to be out. Forgot the sunscreen and my face is fried!

Nice run Baker, I called you earlier today, forgot the ball games were on, glad you got into the crappie, nothing like being able to release a few big ones, I like the 10 to 11 in best, talk to you later.

Nice job Mike. Wish my day would have been half that good.

By the way, saw your post about JR. I ran into him out on Stockton today. When I saw him they were Crappie fishing.

Way to go Mike You had a better day than us. Truman was real tough. They were pulling water & the water got real dirty around Bucksaw.
