    Okay, i can stand elbow to elbow under the bridges and catch some crappie in the spring, fall and winter. How can i catch em in the summer?????Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    In the shade around structure on ledges and bridge pilings.

    You can catch fish year round at the bridges because they have acess to deeper water.From say march thru may they are usually shallow and can be easily caught from the bank, when the water temp starts heating back up they get back in deeper water, they,ll use the channels like highways moving in and out. When it gets hot from june thru aug they may be in 20 ft of water or deeper.

    Most of those fish move back out into the river, so its harder to catch them in the same areas you fish then.
