    Default Fishing is the cure

How's it going everyone? My fiances grandfather passed away suddenly on Tuesday so it's been pretty hectic around my house. He was one hell of a man and he will be greatly missed. My fiance and I own an all natural pet food store and boutique in Hannibal, MO so while she's been out tending to funeral matters I've been running the store. Something I don't do that often. I've got to say that this site sure makes the days go by a little easier. I am even going to be able to fish MTL next Friday and boy I can't wait. Any ideas on where to start would be greatly appreciated. I'm ready to just get on the water and let all the worries just vanish into thin air. Good luck to everyone fishing and remember to tell your loved ones that you love them everyday. You never know when that opportunity will be gone.

    Default Sorry

Scott, sorry to hear about your loss.

Can't help you out with MTL.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

sorry about your fiancees loss scott. as for mtl i think i would start at sandy creek and then try shell branch and pigeon roost. the lake is rising pretty good right now, don,t know how that will affect fishing but wish you the best. good luck.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Everyone seems to be doing better. It's great to be a part of the crappie.com family. Hope everyone catches a lot of fish, but most important just have fun.
