Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Pitching jigs, catching slabs, life is good
Guys:
I awoke to a temp of 10 this morning up here in the Nebraska "tundra" just south of Omaha. At least the 20 mph wind we endured yesterday has disappeared.
I haven't fished since the last day of safe ice on February 8. We've been in transition ever since. Some lakes shed their ice then skimmed back over twice already, while others have bee slow to ice out. Just can't seem to get over the hump, and I'm about to go nuts.
Looking better though here, as it is down your way. My boat is coming out of storage on Saturday and will be on the water here Monday and/or Tuesday. If the forecast holds, I'll be heading to your great state next Friday for the weekend.

I'll be heading to Pomme with my dad if the weather forecast actually becomes reality. The plan is to get out of here early on Friday, so we can put in several hours on the water Friday. Fish all day Saturday and Sunday until noon or so before heading back home.
