    Gonna hit Orange lake this sunday. Some of you all should come out and see how to catch crappie..........LOL (Ramp on 301, majorie rawlings ramp)

    Default orange lake

    Really high, about 14ft out in the lake. The game and fish comm. has been clearing out the bullrushes,cattails, etc. from the edge of the lake, so it has really opened up alot.

    Between Ocala and Gainesville on us301. Closer to Citra than Ocala.

    Hi Guys, I'm Bill. I fished Orange Lake Sunday just outside the boat ramp/creek at Marjorie Rawlings. Drifting jigs tipped with minnows from 6AM til noon. Caught 3 (2 good ones), never quite found them. Had gas line trouble and couldn't go too far. Poor weather, lotsa wind. Water very high 66 deg F.

    Anyone have tips on where to find bottom structure on this lake?

    May try again this weekend.
