Nice job, sounds like you figured them out.
Thought some of you might enjoy.
Caugth 12 nice crappie last night in one hour, should have gotten to the lake a little sooner! 10 of the 12 were 11" + with three going over a pound. Fished the Lindley arm on a bluff end, 16-17' of water just off the bottom. You had to be touching the brush or they wouldn't even sniff it. Black w/ chart and electric chicken slab busters were the key. Must hold the jig perfectly still, any movement would not entice. When they hit it you had to hold on!!!!!

Nice job, sounds like you figured them out.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
That's what I want to hear! I'm scheduled to drive down on Friday with my dad for a few days but not sure if the 5.5 hours drive time will be worth it after the next weather system hits you. The forecast doesn't look good at all for the area. I'm anticipating the cold nights will knock the water temp down and give the crappie lock jaw.
Thinking seriously about postponing into April instead of driving down on Friday. Any thoughts?
Frank
Good work man!

I fished between the 8 and 9 mile marker. The bluff out in front of Mill Creek Cove. There is a green conservation marker, the bed in directly in front of the sign. I had never fished that brush pile before, however I will give it a little more attention from now on.
Frank - the weather doesn't look very good, a harsh cold front is moving in. It will be up in the air on Friday, I think they will bite but one will have to fish slower and be far more patient. I'm not sure about April or where the fish will be, I must confess I'm a spoonbill junkie and don't fish Pomme hardly ever in April. If I can help you any please let me know.
