    Default motor sitting to low

last fall i hit a tree goin about 40mph had no damage to motor or lower unit but i did sheer off 3 of the 4 bolts that was holding my motor to my jack plate and it drop the motor about 2" down on the jack plate so i took my boat to the dealer and they fixed it but did not rasie the motor back up to where it was before and now im running about 61mph but before was running 71mph so with that drop in the motor on the jackplate cause that lossin speed or is there sumthing else that i need to be looking into
