Fulton County is still cleaning up after nearly 331,000 gallons of raw sewage spilled into the Chattahoochee River in Roswell on Sunday.
Chris Browning, assistant director of the Fulton County Public Works Department, said the sewer pipe that runs along Azalea Drive was inundated by the river, which topped its banks from heavy rains and snow. The pipe carries sewage from Roswell, Alpharetta and parts of Johns Creek.
