    Default New to Wappapellp..HELP!

Took a day off work yesterday and went to wappapello. It was my first time out on this lake. More or less just wanted to get out and run the boat but did do a little fishin, Only caught 4 and they were all shorts. I was marking fish 7-10 feet deep around points. Is there any areas of the lake that tend to hold more fish? Is there man-made structure/brush? I like the looks of the lake. I guess I just need a little advice on how to fish it...Not looking for your "honey holes".....just general tips/advice

    Thanks, Ryan

Where did you put in at? Where did you go?
If it wasn't for the last minute I'd never get anything done.

I put in by Asher creek campground. I thiink that was it. Ran the boat a little ways and fished a couple points. Never did find any structure but did manage 4 small crappie. The water there is slightly clearer than im used to fishing back in Illinois. Do the crappoe still spawn/hold on shallow cover?

    Thanks, Ryan

Unless you know the lake and know where you are going don't take the advice of going into Lost Creek unless you want to find some stumps.
