#1, a good jig pole 10-11 foot, sensitive with a little back bone. Maybe Ozark or Outlaw with a good ultralight spinning reel for dipping away from the boat and getting the jig back into the brush. # 2 this one's easy. 7 foot Pfluger President IM7 spinning combo with 6# Mr. Crappie line for casting or jigging.

    7'6" ozark with a 6730 pflueger president
10' ozark jigpole with a 4725 pfleuger trion

The ozark rods are the most sensitive, durable and lightest rods i have ever used, pflueger reels are smooth, light and tough enough to withstand years of abuse.

I would have the two main rods I have now. 10 ft. Ozark for dippin and a 9 ft Quantum Huckabee series for casting. Both with Quantum Energy PTI 20 series reels.

Just what Jamie and Kev said, a Pfleuger reel and Ozark rod and your good to go!!! And if you knew how Jamie treats his equipment you'd know why he said they are tough enough for many years!!!

For casting 7' Bass Pro Micro lite w/Shimano 1000 Symetre
For Jigging 11' B&M Brush Cutter w/ auto fly reel.

I am going to order one of those Ozark rods, seems like everybody likes them.

Quantum 10 ft meat drager with Quantum baitcast strickly for tight lineing & Quantum 10 ft dipping with Quantum Energy pt10 or pt20. Both rods are Huckabee signature rods. On the baitcast we use Seige Braid Fireline 10 lb test. On the spinning we use Siege 8 lb test clear.
