I agree with everything you say above. He will be missed...good day!
On Saturday, an American icon left this world for the Father's House.
Paul Harvey has been a staple of broadcasting for longer than I have been around, and that's a long, long time.
Many have studied his unique delivery but each floundered when attempting to imitate it. When listening to Paul Harvey, even if you didn't totally agree with his point of view, you had to admire him for his stature, his wit and his patriotism.
Upon his father's death, Paul Harvey Jr. said, "....millions have lost a friend."
That, sir, is the truth. Paul Harvey will be sorely missed and I am one of the millions that lost the long-time friend I never had the opportunity to meet.
Good Day.

I liked Paul Harvey.
He peddled some junk sometimes, especially that heater he advertised......

old paul will be missed by many, he had some of the best story telling out there !!! i hope they have paul arcives.
He will be missed, but ya know, his son sounds almost exactly like him, while he'll never be able to replace Harvey Sr. I think he is the only one who can really take his place.
Goodnight Vienna...Pistols Firing!!!
I for 1 will miss his stories. I've caught 'em fairly regularly on our local radio station and will miss em.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
