    Default Bushwhacker Lake Conservation Area

Are there any crappie in this lake? I can always manage to catch one or two during a full day fishing. I have been told that the conservation dept. keeps them shocked out of the lake??!! Want to make it a bass lake. Anyone fish there?

I have not fished there in a couple of years but have caught crappie there. I have not heard anything about them making it a bass lake. I just can't believe that they would make it a bass lake is set up to be fished off the dock or in a small boat and a lot of people fish it with kids.

rummer mungers run rampant, no such thing on the bushwackers lake, besids crappie are high on the bass food scale, use to run beagles up there and seen several people fishing, and lots of catching big pearch, crappie and bass, give it a shot and try this fish shallow in the heat of summer on the east side up in the willows, bobber, tube jig,and crappie nibble, good luck

Try the little lake before the main lake. from the parking lot you have to walk 1/4 mi.On the main lake try the upper end. I live in avilla and have knowen to tie a jig or 2. Besy now making jig heads.
