    hey everybody im new to the forum, been reading it for a few years but finaly got my internet hooked up so i thought id drop a line
    i'm looking for some advise on catching some jack, i know a few creeks i can fish in but was wondering what kind of bait to use thats works well. i havent had any in a long time

    welcome to crappie.com. I used to have good luck with rooster tails before I started crappie fishing.

    welcome delmar. if your creek fishing, like andy said, try a rooster tail with a fast retrieve.

    ok thanx, ive tried roostertails they work good but dont think i understand whut you are talking about outlaw, could you explain please?

    It's a balsa wood 3 1/2 "long or so stick bait with a lip, I believe they sell em at Wally World still. That 's the name Bang O Lure made by Bagley. You must be fishing Mossey,I caught some in there, years back.
