    Default Crappie Tournaments...

I have been thinking about fishing a crappie tournament or two for kicks, nothing serious. Can anyone give me some info on some upcoming tournaments and how to register? Thanks

Whompus, if you or anybody else plan on fishing some of Phil's tourneys please let me know. I tried to last year but it was hard when nobody else shows up to fish crappie. Still went fishing anyway, just kept my money in my pocket that day. I don't know much of Falls Lake but would drive up there to fish if many are going to participate, will definitely show at Jordan regardless. Tight lines.

    Question tournaments

:rolleyes:Yeah, I don't understand why we can't get a good group of tournament crappie fishermen started in the Triangle Area.
We've got 2 of the best lakes in the state but can't get a little tournament action going. Around High Rock and Kerr Lake the crappie guys seem to support it alot. I just don't understand why the support in this area is so slack. I don't think it's the cost so Somebody please tell me and maybe we can get some participation and have a little fun! Phil

Yeah, I don't understand it either Phil. I plan on trying to get some of the guys I fish with to come to the next Jordan tourney so we can fish against each other---but would be nice to have several other participants too--the more the merrier:D.
    I'll fish the Classic anyway.
