Yes indeed you may only have 2 poles ... Look in the fishing regulation. It's there.
my brother has been trolling for Crappie here last summer and he was wondering does the state of MO have any regulations on how many rods he can have in the water?
i didnt think there were any stipulations on it but i wasnt sure so wanted to ask and see

rocketrich you are mostly correct but not compelety correct. you may have up to 33 hooks, if you have more than 3 poles in the water you must have the 4th and consective poles labeled with name, address, phone . thats why trot lines usually have 30 hooks. been checked with 6poles out and no problem ever.
i would suggest going to the mdc web site,,,,seems like any more than 3 rods must have your name and address and a maximum total of 33 hooks is allowed,,but check the web site to be sure

I am going to put some address labels on my trolling rods. Then tape over them with clear tape. Should work just fine.

ha ha you guys have your fun I been getting up at 7 for so long 6days i think. after that long I may not be able to get back to my old habits of sleeping in. I guess I will get in the habit. looks like good fishing health is just arround the corner.
What Beagle and Fuzzy said! I use a white paint pen to write on all of my rods. Mrs. Speck gets them at a local hobby store. I think Wally World carries them also.
