    Default Dumb Question!!


    I am looking at the driftmaster system and I have a question about mounting it to my boat. Does the base, "star" mount directly to the boat? Are those little screws enough to hold it up or will they strip out if its bumped? I've never used one and was just wondering about the best way to mount it.

    The base mounts directly to the boat and the screws will hold it.

    Mine holds fine..............but I have not had a major spill yet. I figured if I strip it out I would make a plate to go under deck and bolt it. my 2 cts.
