    Can anyone tell me if eels make good blue cat bait?

    yes yes and yes by all means,,,,,,,you can put them on ice and they will slow down grab em up and cut into chunks if they are large if not real big still put em on ice so you can work with them hook few inches from tail and they will swim outward put hook through head and they will wrap your line

    I know that a lot of people fish the James River in VA that use them. A lot of people swear by them... catch a lot of channel cats with them as well!

    never heard of it but seems as if it would work . i kno when i went to the beach i caught one in a cast net and it was abt 2 ft long so i kept it alive and caught a big ol shark off of it . weighed somewheres around 200 lb i didnt get it in needless to say. cant catch somethin that big on 20 lb test but i did get it up beside the peir. and gave all the people out there a lil lesson abt swimmin in the ocean lol
