Flat Swamp?

Where is a good place to buy minnows around the Flat Swamp ramp? I may try to go Saturday and I've never been in that area before. I usually put in across from Tamarac and my boat will not go under the RR bridge.

turkey....say you coming out of the access ramp and looking directly at Highway 8. Turn right toward Hwy 49, go about 200 yards, take your first left. About 1/2 mile on the left is Flat Swamp Grocery, they have minnows at $1.00 a dozen.

Another question:

Do you guys troll the deep channel from the RR bridge to the bends or somewhere else? Not trying to get someone's secret spots just ideas.

really anywhere from the ramp down to the rr bridge...I like to go up river to where Four Mile Creek forks left...its pretty deep there also.

turkeyfoot, ive done very well in the past trolling the creek that shoots off to the left just above the trussel.

Speaking of buying minnows, has anyone purchased from the store on the corner to southmont landing ( the one with the "drive thru")?
