On The Bank Today
After a long dry spell here in South Texas I found the crappie on the bank this morning. From 8 till 9 there was fast action. I was using a small cork with a blue and white bass assassin(b52) grub set at 8" deep. Also caught them on white and yellow Crappie Thunder. Caught 17 White Crappie biggest was #1.10oz. Let 4 go but they were small keppers. So really no dinks. Water temp is 67 degress. Ready for tomorow.

I actually miss bank fishing. Where I grew up in IN, it was the method of a majority of anglers. Now where I live in Virginia, there really is no "bank" to fish, unless you know somebody with a private pond. The rivers are mostly surrounded by swamp, and the lakes are water supply, with no bank fishing.

(The fishing's a lot better here than Indiana though)
