    Default Political Question

Wow! I came across a very interesting question today.

If Jesus were to seek election to a political office today, What chance would he have of succeeding? And would you vote for him?

This ought to be very interesting! EB I absolutely would vote for him.

Well, at first thought - barring some divine intervention, he wouldn't
stand much of a chance. No place for an honest person in politics

I know some who wouldn't..Our own VA Governor won't let State Police Chaplains use Jesus' name in prayer so I feel sure Governor(if you can call him that) Tim Kaine would not..

We are trying to get rid of that ruling with House Bill 2314...The Bill passed the House 61-30..The following shows the delegates that voted against Jesus' prayers..DO YOU SEE A PATTERN? ALL with a (D) in front of their name..So, I guess that would be 30 more that wouldn't vote for him.....What a shame

THESE 30 VIRGINIA DELEGATES VOTED AGAINST
ALLOWING PUBLIC PRAYER "IN JESUS NAME":

Delegate Kenneth C. Alexander -- Against Jesus Prayers!
    (D) - House District 89 (804) 698-1089

Delegate Kristen J. Amundson -- Against Jesus Prayers!
    (D) - House District 44 (804) 698-1044

This is just my opinion, but Jesus was a fairly liberal dude. He preached forgiveness. Turn the other cheek. He wanted peace for everybody. He would do anything for you as long as you gave Him something first. Help those less fortunate.
God on the other hand was more conservative. My way or else. An eye for an eye. No work, no food.

Um God and Jesus are one and the same.

God believes in paying your way. He also believes you should help out your neighbor in thier time of need. However shame on you for allowing your neighbor to take advantage of you. Thst isn't being a ggod stuart of what God has given you.

Very good observation and view: Kind of what I was thinking also, but not so right wing as to take direction from talk radio tho. lol EB
